Product Manager (DiRoots Tools)

Job Overview:

As a DiRoots Product Manager, you will spearhead the strategy, development, and execution of the DiRoots Revit plugins portfolio. You will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineering, design, and marketing, ensuring our products align with customer needs and market trends.

Location: Guimarães (Portugal) or remotely.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Vision: Define, communicate, and execute the product vision and strategy for DiRoots Autodesk Revit plugins.

Customer Advocacy: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and pains through research, feedback, and ongoing communication to guide product enhancements and innovations.

Lifecycle Management: Manage the complete product lifecycle, from ideation to sunset, ensuring that our offerings remain competitive and relevant.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to deliver compelling products to our users on time and within budget.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to make informed product decisions, measure success, and identify areas for improvement.

Must-have:

  • Solid background and experience in the AEC industry (e.g., architectural or engineering).
  • Solid Autodesk Revit experience.
  • Leadership ability to manage the different squads of the development team.
  • Experience creating detailed user stories and product requirements that clearly define the desired functionality.
  • Experience in analysis and functional definition of digital products.
  • Experience in very dynamic and changing environments, high ability to change context and manage different functionalities/projects at the same time.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies.
  • An eye for great UX/UI and a good understanding of design best practices.
  • Be proactive in suggesting improvements and new features.

Other technologies knowledge (not mandatory, but a plus):

  • Autodesk Platform Services (APS)/Forge.
  • Jira tool for development management and Confluences for documentation.
  • Autodesk Revit API.
  • DynamoBIM.
  • At least 2 years of experience in software development and/or product management.
  • Other Autodesk products like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.
